Mark S. Bodnar is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist as well as an Iyengar Certified yoga instructor. He has been an adjunct professor in the Exercise Science Department at Georgia State University since January of 2015 and has taught yoga in the Atlanta area for over 17 years. During that time, Mark has worked with clients and students with numerous health issues including: anxiety/depression, arthritis, asthma, chronic back pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes, GERD, herniated discs/sciatica, hypertension, IBS, Parkinson’s disease, pulmonary fibrosis and scoliosis.

A life-long learner, Mark has continued to investigate the mind-body connection through the works of Dean Ornish, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Bernie Siegel, Anthony Goodman, and Deepak Chopra.  His desire to learn more about the Human body and its relationship to mental health has led Mark to return to graduate school in 2011 to pursue degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Kinesiology & Health with an emphasis in Health and Wellness promotion.
